How to watch Shakur Stevenson vs. Edwin De Los Santos

Even though he won’t be facing unbeaten contender Frank Martin in his next fight, Shakur Stevenson is preparing for Edwin De Los Santos with the same dedication as always. The pair face off for the vacant WBC lightweight title at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on November 16.

Stevenson is a former featherweight and super featherweight champion. The pound-for-pound star will be attempting to win the title that was made vacant when former champ Devin Haney made a match against WBC super lightweight champ Regis Prograis.

“I think [De Los Santos is] a harder challenge than Frank Martin,” Stevenson told Boxing Scene. “Once again, I been watching him, so I kinda see like he got great movement, he got great punching power.

“I watched his fight with [Valenzuela]. He kinda kept catching him in the exchanges. And he’s real good at exchanging with fighters, so we’ll see come fight night how he presents himself. I see him as a bigger puncher than Frank Martin; from the outside looking in.”

De Los Santos is on a three-fight win streak. Ranked No. 6 by the WBC, he’s a massive underdog and is up against one of the best pure boxers in the sports today.
