Cristiano Ronaldo and his new-look Al Nassr team are back in competitive action as they look to rebound from a poor ending to their 2022/23 season.
With Sadio Mane, Seko Fofana, Marcelo Brozovic, and Alex Telles joining the squad, Al Nassr hope that they have enough to take them over the top in 2023/24 after finishing just short in every competition.
Al Nassr finished in second place in the 2022/23 Saudi Pro League, and also fell in the semifinals of the King Cup and the Saudi Super Cup.
The 38-year-old Ronaldo has already captained his team to silverware, winning the Arab Club Champions Cup (also known as the King Salman Club Cup) with a 2-1 defeat of rivals Al Hilal. Now the focus turns to the Saudi Pro League season.
