After setting a new single-season Premier League goals record (36 goals) en route to the Golden Boot award in 2022/23, Manchester City star Erling Haaland has come out of the gates strong once again.
After 12 appearances, Haaland is already the leader in the Premier League Golden Boot rankings with 13 goals. Following a hat-trick in City’s 5-1 win over Fulham on September 2, Haaland added another in the 3-1 victory over West Ham. The latest teams to suffer against him were Manchester United and Chelsea.
Familiar high-scorers Mohamed Salah and Son Heung-min are two of Haaland’s closest competitors, although Son and Tottenham have seen their form fade a little. Jarrod Bowen is also in the mix.
