Australian 2024 summer of tennis schedule

With the warm weather fast approaching it’s time to get excited about the 2024 Australian and New Zealand summer of tennis.

The full schedule of events surrounding the Australian Open has been released, with a bevy of exciting tournaments during the back end of December until late January.

There are ATP and WTA events spread throughout Australia and New Zealand, while there is also several wheelchair and junior tournaments.

The 2024 summer of tennis begins on December 29 with the second edition of the United Cup, which sees nations go toe-to-toe in a mixed-team competition format.

The Brisbane International returns for the first time since 2020, with the Adelaide International becoming a single event once more.

Melbourne will host the Victorian Wheelchair Tennis Open and Melbourne Wheelchair Open in mid-January, with the Traralgon Juniors held in regional Victoria.

January 14 – the first ever Sunday start – is the opening of the main singles at the 2024 Australian Open, which is scheduled to wrap up on January 28.
